There’s a Hooker in the House

Let’s see how many hits I get just off that title. (lol)

So we survived family visit 2007, for the most part. On Saturday when they headed home early thanks to the weather, I headed to the yarn shop to go to a crochet bunny slipper class. These are the bunny slippers from the Happy Hooker. I’ve never crocheted before, but I’ve seen it done and figured I could do it.

Well, lets see -

This is the top - the one on the left was right after the visit - see how tight the tension is… the one on the right was after some much needed rest.

Again in this picture - the one on the left was the first piece I did, which is the sole. The second sole was done on after some rest.

These are the ears - all done at the same time, so they won’t need a re-do, but I’m thinking I’m going to knit one more top and sole now that I’m much more relaxed.

So, I’m really behind on my blog reading and reading emails, but I hope to catch up soon.
