What a title. I swear it can’t just be me that has trouble with these things, can it? I’m making steady progress on the shawl. Dang that sleeping thing. At least I have the second ball on. Moving along swimmingly. I have a new obsession. I was browsing in the book store – a [...] I’ve switched gears and have started La La’s Simple shawl. Love this pattern and love the beautiful yarn, which is Cascade Venezia. Yummy merino and silk. Finally a finished project. So I don’t much like this photo of myself, I have this crazy look on my face… but here you go.
And the back. I really am happy I stuck with this. I love how it turned out and I really enjoyed wearing it yesterday.
So I decided to finish up my spinning of the rainbow. It’s here blocking. The first batch seemed to be spun tighter, but it did relax a bit when I stuck it in the wash. Seems like I left it on the bobbin a bit too long.
Then [...] I’ve spent the weekend cleaning and trying to make some progress on some of my older of WIP’s. First off these Summer of Love Lace Socks… I think maybe a year old. Next up I’ve been crocheting the border on my Danish Tie Shawl. Almost done and I’m starting to love it as it’s [...] So yesterday was the most lazy day I’ve had in a long time. Basically I knit and napped all day.
I worked diligently on the Danish Tie-Shawl and bound it off, but as you can see it back live and on the needles again. It needed to be about 3-4 inches [...] This is the final photos of Bee Fields Shawl that the hubby helped me take tonight.

I bought this as a kit from Wooly Wonka, but the pattern is by Anne Hanson. I liked the yarn working with [...] So I know this is a knitting blog, but boy am I finding it hard to chase after a puppy and do the knit thing lately. Plus I’ve been so tired. It didn’t help that Sunday I decided to power wash the parts of the house siding I could reach. Although it was really nice [...] So I had grand plans laid out for today that did not happen. I really didn’t realize I was so tired today until I said I’d take a little nap and that lasted all afternoon. Whoops.
