Finally I finished up Multnomah and even got the two ends woven end and blocked it. Love it… if I was to do it over again, I would put markers in between each repeat. I kept missing a YO here and there…fixable, but a complete PITA. I also got the turkey potpie fillings done. I made [...] I nearly have a Multnomah… one more repeat to go. I decided to stitch on my crewel practice piece yesterday instead of wrapping this up. I finally broke down and ordered a seat frame from The Crewel Work Company. I had a little b-day money left and I think since my right hand is a bit [...] So I’ve done a little blog housekeeping today. I’m sure I’ve should’ve been doing the regular type, but whatever, I’ll get to it… eventually. So there’s not much new to report. Still working out in the yard. Spent 2 more hours out there in 80-degree heat. I know… I’ve lost my mind. I’m trying to find some joy in gardening. I know some people really enjoy this – I may just not be one of them. I like going [...] What a title. I swear it can’t just be me that has trouble with these things, can it? I have a new obsession. I was browsing in the book store – a 40% coupon will [...] I’ve switched gears and have started La La’s Simple shawl. Love this pattern and love the beautiful yarn, which is Cascade Venezia. Yummy merino and silk. Finally a finished project. So I don’t much like this photo of myself, I have this crazy look on my face… but here you go. And the back. I really am happy I stuck with this. I love how it turned out and I really enjoyed wearing it yesterday. So I decided to finish up my spinning of the rainbow. It’s here blocking. The first batch seemed to be spun tighter, but it did relax a bit when I stuck it in the wash. Seems like I left it on the bobbin a bit too long. Then I decided it was time to block the [...] I’ve spent the weekend cleaning and trying to make some progress on some of my older of WIP’s. Next up I’ve been crocheting the border on my Danish Tie Shawl. Almost done and I’m starting to love it as it’s all coming together. So yesterday was the most lazy day I’ve had in a long time. Basically I knit and napped all day. I worked diligently on the Danish Tie-Shawl and bound it off, but as you can see it back live and on the needles again. It needed to be about 3-4 inches longer.
