I’m terribly allergic to everything in the garden.  I touch one thing and I will break out in hives.  Hence we have some very pretty and interesting weeds that popped up this year.

The pickers on them are menacing.  Even the top is picky.

Last night I was sitting at the computer when I heard a ding.  I thought something may be trying to scale the baffle and for sure I was right.  Slowly we made our way to the window just to raise the blind slightly when we saw a very healthy raccoon out there - munching away.  Basically doing clean up around the feeders, which is a good thing.  We agreed about 25 - 30 pounds and just making the rounds to the feeders.

I was wondering who was creating all this carnage.  I figured it must be something big.  Needless to say poor little Max has been befuddled by all these creatures in his yard.  The night before it was a opossum.
