The table runner is now a quilt top complete with borders. This has been a really fun project. Tuesday we sandwich and start quilting. I can’t believe it’s Sunday night. I would like another day just to recuperate. This weekend was not ideal to say the least. I found our poor Charlie kitty convulsing [...] I signed up at one of my LQS to do a Farmer’s Wife quilt along. I had a chance to pop over to the store today to pick up supplies. I want to do this in reproduction fabric, but alas I had none in my stash. Poor me… it required stash enhancement. I wanted to [...] I have lots of helpers that like to sew… well sew and spin, but lately there’s been a lot of sewing and quilting. Anyway… here is how they like to help. Notice that tongue… mmmm… tastes good. Here is how I like them to help. I’m ignoring you… blissed out in the softest [...] Poor Lily – after the pink dye – which I had to remind the vet I didn’t do, I got her this way. Well, she has some sort of skin thing going on. Special shampoo, a shot, and a liquid anti-biotic should set her straight. Poor Coco has an equally annoying, but different skin thing. [...] Happy Whisker’s on Wednesday! Sorry for the long hiatus. Right after the windows were replaced – Coco needed knee surgery. It’s been quite a recovery period – 4 weeks so far tomorrow and then another 8 weeks of restrictions. Between taking care of her and everything else going on it’s been a challenge, but I’m [...] No one ever said home improvement projects were easy – but this one went relatively smoothly. Not quite done as one door and and window came the wrong size, but good for now. The best was the dogs were so well behaved. The doors kept opening and closing and people in and out, so I [...] Welcome Lily! She’s just over 6 months old and yes – she is slightly pink. They dyed her pink for a charity event, but she is a silver shaded Persian. And yes – they also trimmed her whiskers – which already appear to be growing back. Thank Goodness! She does have blocked tear ducts [...] Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. ~Author Unknown
