The bunnies have made their public debut in my garden. So far, I can only see two, but I think there may be more. I hope so because I thought I saw at least 3 little pink bodies when they were born. However, it could’ve only been two. This is bunny two. All of [...] Today started off with a drizzle, but I managed to get out and get my Saturday Sky picture. It did however get sunny later on and start drying things out. I was starting to get worried about the garden with all of this cool rain. I don’t want any mold or rot to take [...] Yesterday definitely took it out of us. DH and I both didn’t get up until around noon and we were jut wiped out all day. We didn’t even get it all done. Insert violin, because yes, I am whining here. This dang yard work is akin to housework. Never, ever, ever, done. Whah!!!! [...] After errands, DH and I worked in the garden all day. Not done, but a little more knocked out. This is my strawberry patch. I should have a good crop this year. [...] So there’s not much new to report. Still working out in the yard. Spent 2 more hours out there in 80-degree heat. I know… I’ve lost my mind. I’m trying to find some joy in gardening. I know some people really enjoy this – I may just not be one of them. I like going [...] Well the reluctant gardener along with her very helpful sidekick managed to get the front of the house for the most part ready for mulch. There was bush trimming and weed pulling that made my arm wretchedly sore. I give the bushes the first trim and then DH came back around and fixed them up. [...] So the reluctant gardener is back at work around here on a gorgeous Saturday day. Cool and good for yardwork. Although these did not need any help from me. It was a good day to work in the front as it was doggy grooming day and I didn’t have to keep [...] About 1:30am big storms rolled in and gave us another good rain. While I love sleeping in storms, our river was just about going down. Across the street from us the houses sit right on the river and I’m good with that. I really don’t want to own river front property.
[...] A little eye candy from my garden today! I planted this 3 years ago, when we moved in and it has done well. Not as well I think it could, so I’ve made sure to get it some food this year.
[...] Tomorrow the lawn is getting cut again, but today was the day for a wee little bunny to be bouncing around enjoying the clover. After much observation our wee one was very discerning and really did only pick the clover.
