So this year I’ve seem to develop the habit of starting projects, but not finishing them. So not like me… so to remedy this situation before they get so old, they just need to be frogged, I’ve decided to put the needles in action and get two projects done. Here is a lovely little slug [...] Look!!! Two finished objects this month so far… whohoo… This is a lovely free Ravelry pattern – 198 Yards of Heaven. I used some love Karaoke that was a gift from my two knitting buds — Beverly and Dawn. I have two more balls that might become another one of these…because it’s perfect size to [...] This was a very fun project. I stuffed it with white floral styrofoam, which worked perfectly. This was based after Alan Dart’s Wedding Cake Pattern. I switch the top out tothe crochet rose pattern available free for on Ravelry. I also added a 5 stitch I-cord along the bottom. It’s off in the mail [...] Coco in her pretty new pink sweater. Coco has a sweater. This pattern is from Doggie Knits and is the Piccolo Sweater. I figured out that she has quite the little barrel chest. I realized I may not have made this large enough, but instead of ripping I decided the smart thing to do was to put in a gusset. This seemed [...] So I have two more finishes… a long and painful one and a quick knit one. First the this is the Cocoon scarf, knit with Kidsilk Haze which is not one of my favorite yarns. However, the finished project is very lovely as Madison agrees. This is going to Mom. She’s also getting this extra-warm [...] So here we go… I finished up a pair of basic socks with some yarn I dyed a while ago. These have been hanging on for ages and ages, since I just worked on them a minute here and there. The eternal car sock project. Well… that feels good. Also I’ve completed a few dishcloths. [...] Well… here’s all my finished projects for 2009. I should say everything that is completely finished in 2009. I have a few more that need ends woven in, but I’m not counting them because they are not totally done. So here I am celebrating 21 finished projects… I think my resolution for next year will [...] Finally I finished up Multnomah and even got the two ends woven end and blocked it. Love it… if I was to do it over again, I would put markers in between each repeat. I kept missing a YO here and there…fixable, but a complete PITA. I also got the turkey potpie fillings done.
