Danish Tie Shawl
Finally a finished project.
So I don’t much like this photo of myself, I have this crazy look on my face… but here you go.
And the back. I really am happy I stuck with this. I love how it turned out and I really enjoyed wearing it yesterday.
Summer of Love Lace
Finally got these socks done. Only took 10 months.
This was part of the Socks that Rock club from last year. I modified the pattern from a cuff pattern to take the pattern all the way down the leg and foot.
Buttons
I was very pleasantly surprised at the nice buttons I found at JoAnn Fabrics. They have a really nice new selection of modern buttons that worked great with the hats. They are now winging their way East. I would definitely make this pattern again.

This past weekend, I also had a chance to whip up a Urchin. This is a great pattern and a fun knit. I really love how it knitted up. I had a hard time getting gauge. I went up a size to large as I wanted it to be large and [...]
Socks and The Thing
So part two of the trip continues, after a lovely visit at the yarn shop we made our way for lunch to my cousins house to visit with her son, husband and father (my uncle). I have to say I love knitting for her because she loves getting my knits. When she receives something - [...]
Focused
So today was kinda a blah day. You know the type where the pajamas don’t come off all day and you just kinda sit around napping, well that was today. I did get down to business though and finished up my Silly Swap Socks.
These are made with Mountain Colors in the Emerald Colorway. The pattern [...]
