Well, I totally forgot about the ABC-Along. Whoops. So here I am catching up again. I think we’re on Q for a few more days. So two days ago, poor Faygo’s eye swelled up. Off to the vet we went. I think Anyway Faygo’s eye is looking much better, but still not perfect.
Yesterday after puppy class I headed out to the spa. DH got a gift certificate from Aveda with points, so I got to have a manicure, pedicure and massage. I still haven’t come up with a N and really I’ve been a little preoccupied with the Coco and the menagerie around here to think about [...] Wow, so I’m really stinking at this whole ABC-Along. I’m resolving, again, to do better with N. (lol) Today I’m combining my ABC along with Wisker’s on Wednesday.
This handsome devil is my Faygo. We estimate he is somewhere in the 16 to 18 year old range. Maybe older, but who really [...] Yeah! Look what I found at my local library.
I’ve been wanting to preview this for awhile, but was thinking I may know many of the things on it. With that being the case, I didn’t think it was worth putting out the cash for, so this is a real find [...] I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to think of a K. With all the little faces staring at me all day, every day, it’s a wonder I haven’t come up with it sooner. Tsk, tsk on me!
Of course I could have also used K is [...] Plain Jane that is… Up we have a lovely set of plain Jane socks in my favorite Yankee knitter socks for the whole family pattern.
Hand dyed by me in The Beach Meets Sea colorway. So I fallen behind a bit in the ABC Along, but I’m hoping to catch back up. There is so much inspiration around here. There’s the magazine even called Inspirations that I totally love. You can find some knitting there sometimes, but most time I’m busy drooling over the embroidery. I’ve also found tons and [...] I decided two days ago that I wanted to make some slippers for my Mom out of stash yarn for Mother’s day. The gray and green is handspun from a sweater I did for her last year. The yellow is from my PWool sweater. These knit up so quick that I didn’t have enough time [...] Yesterday was the Stephenson County Fiber Art Fair and what a nice event. I hadn’t been before, so I didn’t quite know what to expect, but they had an awesome selection of vendors and lots of choices to spend money on. I circled around and picked out a couple of fleeces. I don’t know what [...] Hey I realized I forgot to do F. Well F is for my favorite events – Fiber Festivals. Today was the first one of my season. A little local event sharing in mohair goat shearing and with various vendors setting up shop around the farm. It was a beautiful day, but with last week’s trip, [...] |
