This is my bee shawl and I think my most favorite thing I made this year. So X is a freaking hard letter to find things for … of course we use it all time to shorten words like Christmas into x-mas, or to copy things – Xerox, or to have anti-anxiety – Xanax. Or we say if you take X then add it/subtract it… you get the idea. Anyway that’s [...] It’s a snow day and it’s a good thing because I’m sick. I decided that I have a full blown cold. Yuck! I don’t think I can reasonably drive in the snow 25 miles to work, so it’s a SNOW DAY! I wish I could have more fun, but the sofa and knitting is all [...] So I didn’t mean to take a bloggy break. Life just kept getting in the way (still is for that matter) and every time I sit down to write this Coco seems to need to go out or someone needs something. So Coco is doing well… still getting into trouble. Not much going on around here, just knitting… I found so many S’s today… Siblings… Snow… Sweater… I guess it was just an S kinda day. I know I missed both Whisker Wednesday and Dogs on Thursday this week. I have been running ragged around here lately. It’s that time of the year where all the cats go for their respective vet visits. In the last two weeks, I found out poor Tobey has a UTI that I have no idea [...] I have yet to make my kitchen the dishcloths it deserves. However, when I saw this cute pattern for the hyperbolic dishcloth, I knew I had to give it a go. I’m a completely novice crocheter but was able to get this done with a bit in the morning and then working on it for a [...] I’ve spent the weekend cleaning and trying to make some progress on some of my older of WIP’s. Next up I’ve been crocheting the border on my Danish Tie Shawl. Almost done and I’m starting to love it as it’s all coming together.  |
