If you’ve been following my knitting mishaps for a while, you’ll know that hats are my kryptonite. Two hats done… no ripping back… Pow! Take that hat knitting nemesis. One Baroness Beret for Mom – Free pattern a la Ravelry. One Simple Hat… scarf casted on again for Mom. This is from the book Cables [...] So I didn’t mean to take a bloggy break. Life just kept getting in the way (still is for that matter) and every time I sit down to write this Coco seems to need to go out or someone needs something. So let’s see where did we leave off… The TV. Well the TV thing [...] So Coco is doing well… still getting into trouble. Not much going on around here, just knitting… I found so many S’s today… Snuggles… Siblings… Snow… Sweater… I guess it was just an S kinda day. For those of you who don’t know, these red/pink things are Kongs and the things sticking out of them are called Ziggy’s. Kongs in general are very boring unless you stuff them with something delicious. Coco took to them right away, especially when hers is stuffed with cheese whiz. Imagine DH and I having discussions [...] Well the eye is looking pretty good now. I think it’s darn close to 100% now. Whew…dodged a bullet on this one now. 80-degrees, sunny, gorgeous… yes the perfect summer day. We were going to go to the apple place but figures it would probably be very busy on a day like today. Having crowd avoidance, unless there is wool involved, we opted to take the dogs to a local park instead. We went on a nice walk [...] Featuring Miss Sophie, who since Coco came doesn’t see to get near enough blog time. She’s still my big, first baby. Charlie loves Coco’s cozy den crate. I caught him snoozing in it last night and when it was time for her to go to bed. I put her in, figuring that he would budge, but no budging from him. He was contented to share.  |
