To get me writing every day, I’ve decided to set myself a little challenge. They have 250/500/100, so I decided to start slowly at 250 – 6 days a week. Today is day 1. We had 60-degress today and some sun. Yeah! I thought since it’s cat’s on Wednesday – it would be a good day to get a new picture of Faygo since his fur has grown back. While having my morning latte I decided to seize the day… or the year… or whatever… and I signed up for a fundamentals in fiction writing workshop. We think we have one more spot in the house for another one, so hopefully we will find another suitable one soon. Also in bizarre news, we have Charlie sitting with Madison. Whoa! It must [...] So I just wanted to do a quick update post to let you all know I’m on the mend. Last Tuesday I had the works sinus surgery, including fixing the deviated septum and have been spending my time laying around the house in a Vicodin-induced haze recovering. Yesterday, I was able to get my packing [...] Have you heard about readwritepoem? It’s a great place for poetry. They now have 500 members and growing – to celebrate they are doing a collaborative poem with their members. Everyone submits one line that starts off with the same prompt – today is the day, so I added - Today is the day stars [...] I loved this hat the first time I saw it. Since, I’m a hat person it was just a matter of time until I knit it. After a little break when I knit the socks for my swap pal, I got back to it and it worked up fairly fast. It is a little tricky [...] I better pick up the pace or else I’m just going to just be a Saturday blogger. So let’s see what happened this past week… Tuesday there was the Rock ‘n Knitter’s guild where my friend Beverly was sworn in as president of the guild. Yeah Beverly!
