Today started off with a drizzle, but I managed to get out and get my Saturday Sky picture. It did however get sunny later on and start drying things out. I was starting to get worried about the garden with all of this cool rain. I don’t want any mold or rot to take [...] After errands, DH and I worked in the garden all day. Not done, but a little more knocked out. This is my strawberry patch. I should have a good crop this year. [...] So the reluctant gardener is back at work around here on a gorgeous Saturday day. Cool and good for yardwork. Although these did not need any help from me. It was a good day to work in the front as it was doggy grooming day and I didn’t have to keep [...] It’s a rainy Saturday today. Good thing it was spent at the fiber mill. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, but pictures can be found here. Thanks Mitbitna for remembering! We had a beautiful Saturday Day – a little cool – but lovely. Perfect for socks. Here’s an update on my plain socks I’m working on. I’ve casted on the second sock to all and making good progress on the one – to get it done. Have to say I really don’t [...] Today was the very lovely mohair festival. This little festival just makes a nice day out. There are two nearby yarn shops that just is icing on the cake. One of the lady’s always has a very hard to resist sock yarn selection and I found myself adding to the stash today. What do [...] I know it’s been a week since I posted. Shame on me, but I’ve been conserving energy for a good reason. I’ve been feeling a little run down lately. I swear my office is filled to the brim with cold and flu bugs and even some knitting friends seem to have come down with it [...] I finised my Froot Loops this week and finally got them blocked. Yeah! I can’t wait to wear them today. I have to cast on my next pair this weekend for my Silly Swap Pal. I think I have a pattern picked out. I can’t wait. I also finally casted on my February Lady’s [...] Well, it’s definitely February, so I can’t complain too much that it’s snowing. We’re expecting another 6-8 inches today. It’s starting to lighten up a bit. We took the dogs to the groomer this morning, but other than picking them up I have nothing planned today. I was going to get a haircut, but the [...] We had a couple of inches of snow on Friday night, but Saturday was clear and a bit warmer.
