Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to show but a lovely Saturday Sky. Yesterday it didn’t get above 65-degrees and rained all day. It continued raining today, but when it cleared up it got hot and muggy. It was so muggy my camera kept fogging up outside. I think my blogging may remain sporadic this week, [...] I have to wonder if summer skipped us this year. I’m getting cucumbers now, but still only green tomatoes. I fear unless it gets warmer we may be eating a lot of fried green tomatoes soon. It started off as a rainy day – supposed to be 80-degrees today, but never made it past 72-degrees [...] Our Saturday Sky is complete with a rainbow today. Sorry for being MIA this week. I’ve been busying as a bee weaving three days this week and trying to keep up with my regular hectic schedule. This gorgeous thing came off the loom today. I have a warp ready to go that I wound last [...] I’ve been wanting to try the new City Tweed by Knit Picks and thought Gretel would be the perfect project to test out this yarn. I would just hate to do an entire sweater and have it fuzz up or something. I’m just a little concerned that the alpaca is going to cause shedding. I [...] I tried to get the different colors at dusk tonight. This turned out ok, but I think I may need more practice. It’s just a little blurry. So I had no idea what to do with the cabbage that came with our CSA box. I was going to do coleslaw, but it’s been such a [...] So I’ve taken a few days off leading up to the fourth and a lot of things have gotten done. I got the dust bunnies down to a small roar again. If I waited any longer, they could have mutinied. I got this crazy idea for a short story last week and started writing it [...] Today’s Saturday sky is slightly overcast, but it looks like it’s going to clear up. They said something about rain maybe later. At least it’s not so hot you melt just walking outside. I hate that. I would rather have it on the cooler side than hotter any day. It’s the wool lover in me. [...] So after two days of storms we ended up having a hot, but nice sunny day. Too hot for my tastes. I used to love summer, but not so much anymore. I end up hibernating in the house, just as much as in the winter, but I can’t wear my knits. There are somethings I [...] There was a little sun yesterday. By the evening it was just perfect.
