The weather was beautiful today and spring fever is starting to hit. We had 60-degress today and some sun. Yeah! I thought since it’s cat’s on Wednesday – it would be a good day to get a new picture of Faygo since his fur has grown back. Also lookie what I got today - My Valentines day [...] I’m making progress with Max’s Yoda Sweater… he’s going to look so cute in this one. The bottom - So far I’ve knit 27 out of 57 diamonds and half-diamonds. Poor Sweet Pea… last night DH was feeding the cats their dinner when there was no sign of Sweet Pea. Now we have the plates all prepared for them, so we know when someone doesn’t come to dinner. I set off in search of her checking the bedroom, bathroom, and basement. All to no avail…when [...] Coco has a sweater. This pattern is from Doggie Knits and is the Piccolo Sweater. I figured out that she has quite the little barrel chest. I realized I may not have made this large enough, but instead of ripping I decided the smart thing to do was to put in a gusset. This seemed to work out [...] When we get in the depths of winter, I start to dream about warm summer days. In my dreams…warm summer days always include cherry pie – one of my favorites. DH came home with two cans of cherries the other day and it was time for pie. The girls had their first taste of catnip here. [...] So I have two more finishes… a long and painful one and a quick knit one. First the this is the Cocoon scarf, knit with Kidsilk Haze which is not one of my favorite yarns. However, the finished project is very lovely as Madison agrees. This is going to Mom. She’s also getting this extra-warm EZ hat. I [...] So I think this is one of my favorite Sweet Pea pictures so far. She seems to be a diva for the camera. Every time I get my make shift light box out… she get’s into position. Not to be out done Jasmine has decided to cuddle with Faygo, who seems to be doing much better. Faygo kitty…with [...] So the girls are getting comfortable around here. They sat up on the sofa the other night and hung out with us. Unfortunately Faygo’s eye wouldn’t heal after 3 months of various treatments. So yesterday he had to have his eye out. It was very painful for him and he had lost more weight. So having it [...] 6:18pm UPDATE – Sophie passed away tonight at 5:20 pm. She will be missed. Doctor thinks she developed anemia and she was not going to recover with her other organ failure and problems. Mike and I were with her when she passed. So first up we have Madison who decided to fish out a old piece of spaghetti when I was cleaning the pot and give it a good play. I let her at it and at some point she just chewed it up and I found it’s remains on the counter. Great at playing – not [...]  |
