Coco in her pretty new pink sweater. Coco has a sweater. This pattern is from Doggie Knits and is the Piccolo Sweater. I figured out that she has quite the little barrel chest. I realized I may not have made this large enough, but instead of ripping I decided the smart thing to do was to put in a gusset. This seemed to work out [...] So here we go… I finished up a pair of basic socks with some yarn I dyed a while ago. These have been hanging on for ages and ages, since I just worked on them a minute here and there. The eternal car sock project. Well… that feels good. So winter has for sure come upon us — it’s very clear and cold today. At least we are getting some sun today. I started a Coco sweater – the cold weather has urged me on since squeezing her into her old coats don’t seem to be an option this year. Unfortunately last night’s work is about [...] Not together of course… These are coming along, but a little neglected at this point. Another neglected project are my slugs. I want to do two more and his one still needs lips and eyes… whoops. So I just wanted to do a quick update post to let you all know I’m on the mend. Last Tuesday I had the works sinus surgery, including fixing the deviated septum and have been spending my time laying around the house in a Vicodin-induced haze recovering. Yesterday, I was able to get my packing [...] This week blew by. I can’t believe it’s Friday already. I must be in a high creative time because I’ve been crafting up a storm lately. Here’s some examples – 175 yards of Aran to bulky weight of lovely CormoX – Pia. I want to make the Truly Tasha Shawl. I’m thinking this is going [...] I’ve been looking online at all of the Chinese New Year celebrations going on. Looks like the year of the Ox should be a good one, let’s hope so. I knitted up two dishcloths over the weekend. We’re having a little party this week with the knitting group. It’s a Winter Celebration. We’re doing a dishcloth [...] So some of the earlier dishcloths I’ve made are looking quite ragged, so I had to whip up a couple new ones.
