This was a very fun project. I stuffed it with white floral styrofoam, which worked perfectly. This was based after Alan Dart’s Wedding Cake Pattern. I think I may have now been knitting for so long that sometimes I read directions and my brain translates them to how it thinks it should be. I’m knitting the Wedding Cake from Alan Dart. Well, for some reason I looked at this and my brain said – hmmm…must be knit in the round, [...] I’m making progress with Max’s Yoda Sweater… he’s going to look so cute in this one. The top – The bottom – So far I’ve knit 27 out of 57 diamonds and half-diamonds. Coco in her pretty new pink sweater. Coco has a sweater. This pattern is from Doggie Knits and is the Piccolo Sweater. I figured out that she has quite the little barrel chest. I realized I may not have made this large enough, but instead of ripping I decided the smart thing to do was to put in a gusset. This seemed [...] So here we go… I finished up a pair of basic socks with some yarn I dyed a while ago. These have been hanging on for ages and ages, since I just worked on them a minute here and there. The eternal car sock project. Well… that feels good. Also I’ve completed a few dishcloths. [...] So winter has for sure come upon us — it’s very clear and cold today. At least we are getting some sun today. I started a Coco sweater – the cold weather has urged me on since squeezing her into her old coats don’t seem to be an option this year. Unfortunately last night’s work [...] Not together of course… First up I changed the colors to purple, white and black for the Wintergreen Gloves (free Rav Pattern). These are coming along, but a little neglected at this point. Another neglected project are my slugs. I want to do two more and his one still needs lips and eyes… whoops. So I just wanted to do a quick update post to let you all know I’m on the mend. Last Tuesday I had the works sinus surgery, including fixing the deviated septum and have been spending my time laying around the house in a Vicodin-induced haze recovering. Yesterday, I was able to get my packing [...] This week blew by. I can’t believe it’s Friday already. I must be in a high creative time because I’ve been crafting up a storm lately.
