I’ve made it through the swarm…
now onto the last section. I’m seriously contemplating doing the petite. Since I’m so vertically challenged, I don’t want to get swallowed up in the shawl. You know I want to wear it, I don’t want it to wear me. I’m thinking the petite size [...] I had a good session with Bee Fields Last night. Even though it was only something like 8 rows I knitted, I felt like I was flying. I’m 3/4 of the way through the swarm. 12 rows to go on the chart and then the changing of the sections which is 6 rows and then [...] Still buzzing though the bee fields. I’m up to row 17… whohoo… So I’m now in the swarm section. I’ve made two mistakes so far, but I think fixable so not bad. One was in the reverse stockinette. It had to be in the yarn overs. I tinked and tinked, but couldn’t find it, so when I got to the next pattern row in the swarm I [...] I’m through the hive section and ready to start the swarm section.
I can’t believe I’ve been so diligently knitting this one. It’s (a) highly addictive and (b) fun to knit. Plus part of me is afraid to put it down and do another big project because it may get lost and [...] The Bee Fields that is…
Only 30 more rows to go and then it’s off to the swarm. I hit a stride on this one and have the pattern to be easy, so far so good. I really find myself wanting to knit on it, it’s kinda addictive. [...] I couldn’t wait any longer. I wound the yarn and casted on.
I’m itching to keep going. I’m on row 13 on the second chart. So far so good… moving along smoothly. [...] Yup that’s right my kit. It’s all I can do to not wind it on and cast on.
I have to finish the Butterfly Sweater first. I had to rip 5 rows on the current sleeve because Wednesday night S’nB was so wild I put in an extra make one and [...] Check this out! Beth did an amazing job. As you figured, I have added this beauty to my must knit list. The book, Three-Cornered and Long Shawls is available from School House Press and I’m refraining from running out and buying it right now, especially since I already added a couple must have books to [...] |
