Well… since I no longer felt like knitting, I decided to get my wool applique project out. This one has gone on too long and I’m anxious to finish it.
I only have the bird, stems, and a few more flowers and it’s finished. I find my stithcing is getting more loose and much faster. A good thing! I was stitching way too close before and it was taking me forever. Before I could only do a leaf… now I can do 5 in a sitting of just an hour or two.
Interesting, when I did the Hawaiian applique, I had the same progression from too tight and close to a bit looser and faster. It’s looking good!
This is beautiful…can’t wait to see the finished product!
