Poor Maddie was back at the vet today. She’s not getting better, but they no longer think it’s an infection. She’s getting drugs to keep her comfortable and drew some blood and other samples to have the lab look at them. We have also have the traveling vet scheduled for ultrasound this week. We think that maybe the only way to get a real idea of what’s going on. Fingers crossed.
Over the weekend, the Civil War Celebration continued. The January blocks are complete. Bring on February.
Oh poor Maddie. I hope it’s nothing serious!
Those blocks are all so pretty, I can’t decide which one I like best. Every time I look at them, something different stands out in my mind.
And I do hope Maddie doesn’t have anything serious. One of the dogs had an ultrasound this fall due to his inability to take in any nutrition from his food. He had lost almost 25% of his body weight and I was sure he had cancer or something awful, but the vet said his large intestine looked inflamed, so let’s try some prednisone. It resolved the mystery illness. So, I’m hoping that you get some equally good news for Maddie.
