Remember this roving…
So 4 ounces has become approximately 550 yards of this lace weight yarn.
Not exactly what I expected. It’s more brown than I thought it would be, but still lovely. I’m thinking the next 4 ounces should be socks – a nice 3-ply. I don’t think I need anymore of this in lace weight.
I never know what to expect from this sort of roving which is one reason I always hesitate to buy. It’s turned out very pretty, wonder what it will look like knit? I think it would make great socks thought it will probably look different spun at fingering weight. Can’t wait to see how it changes!
