OK – I think this is officially the cutest spindle ever. It’s so tiny and yet so useful. Gorgeous black palm wood and bocote shaft – only .6 ounces. It spins fast and I can get a lace weight.
It fits in the palm of your hand or in your pocket.
Up close of the wood
So there you go – they feel like potato chips – I may need more than one of these cuties. You can find them on Etsy at Threads Thru Time. Super fast shipping too – I bought mine early Monday morning before I went to work and had it by Thursday afternoon. It’s test spun before it ships and they supply a nice little amount of roving to play with once you get it – so you can start spinning right away.

Hmmmm. so I have bags and you have….. I bet my collection can beat your collection Hee Hee.

Really, it is the cutest. I might need to mosey on over and get one…
That is lovely and adorable all at once!
So cute! I still need to learn how to use a Turkish spindle.
I’d just like to be able to spin on a spindle. Sadly, I’m not very good at it.
