So the girls are getting comfortable around here. They sat up on the sofa the other night and hung out with us.
Unfortunately Faygo’s eye wouldn’t heal after 3 months of various treatments.
So yesterday he had to have his eye out. It was very painful for him and he had lost more weight. So having it out was the only option left. He’s on lots of pain meds, but he’s eating well and sitting on his favorite bed. In this picture he ran right over to scratch on his post. So even though it doesn’t look so good right now it seems like he already feels much better. I should mention that he’s been blind for a long time already, so while he saw a few shadows this shouldn’t be to disabling. He’s already been up and down the stairs too. He’s such a trooper.
The girls look so cute snuggled up together but ow, it pains me even to look at Faygo’s stiches. I bet he’ll be feeling much better with the eye gone though. I remember how much pain Daniel was in with a wee scratch on his eye nevermind an ulcer.
Those fluffies are super cute. I’m glad the big orange tiger is feeling better. it’s amazing to me how they recover so fast.
I\’m so sorry Faygo had to have surgery. Hopefully he\’ll start to feel better now.
