As long as I’ve been spinning I’ve been trying to spin specific, meaning for a specific project. Alas, I sometimes still fall short. Or in the process it just magically decides it wants to be something else. Yeah, that’s it.
This is beautiful and I had a good time playing with my Very Fast Flyer, but it’s a bit short at only about 350 yards. 4 ounces at 26 wpi. So if I need at least twice that amount at that wpi to get the required amount for Beach Glass. Hmmm… back to the drawing board. That’s ok… while the top was fun spinning, now I want to try some lovely Cormo roving with the Very Fast Flyer.
So now though what does this make?

I’m thinking it would make a beautiful hat.
I’m sure it will tell you what it wants to be when it’s ready to come out and play. Maybe it will need a partner in the end.
I think a small shawl would be pretty. I have the ocean breezes book, would you like to look through that? Either a nice scarflet or small shawl out of that book wold inspire you
