Today started off with a drizzle, but I managed to get out and get my Saturday Sky picture.
It did however get sunny later on and start drying things out. I was starting to get worried about the garden with all of this cool rain. I don’t want any mold or rot to take over before things get started. I’ve checked them over and things seem to be ok.
My clemtis has definitley produced larger flowers this year, over last year. They are tea cup saucer size for sure.
My lettuce in the bucket are starting to come up. I think I have them in the perfect spot to produce lovely lettuce for the season. I hope anyway.
So after a little garden review, I headed over to my local library. I had forgotten Friends of the Library were having a book sale. So of course I took a browse and found some real finds. Basically the rules are fill a brown grocery bag full for $5. It’s such a good deal, I have a hard time passing it by. I’ve been journaling lately with a passion in my Moleskine and found Keeping a Journal You Love by Sheila Bender, but I think the two real finds of the day were these.
There are 3 Vogarts here – one is a duplicate.
Then this little gem. I think probably some really informative information.
By the time I got out of there my bag over-floweth. I got to the counter and one of the ladies said, very seriously I might add, “I think that bag is a $6 bag.” (lol) I tried very hard not to laugh. Unfortunately some of them have no sense of humor. I really didn’t want to offend, so I just paid my $6, gave them a grand smile and lugged my bag out to the car praying it wouldn’t break. Can’t wait for the fall sale.

Awesome books finds! The garden looks like it’s off to a great start. You’ll be eating veggie quesadillas all summer long at this rate.
I’ve been journaling for a long time now I love it. Plus I find libraians to be a group of people I can’t get along with. I thought it was just in new Jersey but after moving all around I discovered as a group they are not inclined to like me very much. that’s okay they need to take the really big stick out of they’re a–. Hope all is well.
