I finised my Froot Loops this week and finally got them blocked. Yeah! I can’t wait to wear them today.
I have to cast on my next pair this weekend for my Silly Swap Pal. I think I have a pattern picked out. I can’t wait.
I also finally casted on my February Lady’s Sweater and I can’t wait. I love, love, love this pattern so far. I’m up to the first button hole and it doesn’t look like much left, so I’ll spare you the picture.
I forgot to mention an event I did recently. We have a new locally grown market in the area – Bushel and Pecks. I did a hour long talk there from Sheep to Skein, where I talked quickly and demo’d how the whole process is done. My friend Brenda invited me to do the talk and we really had a blast. She got a picture of me with the picker. Please ignore the fact that I’m not wearing safety gear and it’s not clamped down.
Of course Coco, doesn’t know it’s Saturday and got me up at the regular time 6am, so today it’s just a sunrise Saturday Sky. Can’t see it in the picture, but it’s just slightly snowing with those fluffy big flakes.

Those look great! I have sock one of the Froot Loops half done. I am working with tofutsies sock yarn though.
Oops, I didn’t mean to bust you with the picture from the workshop. You were so great and informative and approachable and several people have commented how much they enjoyed your talk.
I am still trying to get that cardigan (need to cast on a border and pay attention to the pattern for a few repeats)–but intend to bring it, and myself (and possibly a friend) to the guild meeting on of these Wednesdays.
Thanks again for your show-and-tell!
What beautiful socks! I almost have started the feburary lady sweater myself! I can’t wait to see a full picture of it.
Good luck!
