Somewhere in 2008 I lost my sock mojo. I don’t know where it went, but over the weekend I needed something to keep my mind off of Sophie, so I picked up my Baudelaire sock. I was past the heel, so it was just straight leg knitting. I’m anxious to cast on the next sock.
I think the sock mojo is officially back. I don’t know what it is, but every time I knit a toe up sock, they just fit better. I don’t know why, but it just does. The leg is a smidge tight on, but after wearing it for awhile it did stretch out and feel just fine.
I didn’t think this yarn was busy when I picked it out for this sock, but now I can see it’s a little busy. Oh well.
In Sophie news, I talked to the Dr and the pathologist report says it’s not cancer. They think it’s just a lymph-node that swelled up. Today she’s back to her old self and the lump is down to a small golf ball size or smaller. Yeah!

Yay Sophie!
Gorgeous sock… and I don’t think the yarn’s too busy
Love the yarn
You are the 3rd person these last few days to mention that her sock knitting mojo’s back. Guess 2008 was a bad year for the Sock hehehe.
I’m so glad to hear about Sophie! I hope she has a full recovery.
Go Sophie go! The pattern and colors are a great combo–very lacy and happy which is how I’m feeling now that Sophie is recovering. I would love to give her a big hug.
I’m sorry to hear about Sophie’s kidney failure, but the tumor diagnosis is great news.
The sock is gorgeous! And hooray for no cancer, that’s fantastic news.
