Frustrating. In the past, when hats have been too big I have "fulled" them by washing them in the gentle cycle and popping them in the dryer for a bit. Then, I pull them out and pop on the intended one's head. I mold it, stuff it with newspaper and let it dry. But this is cotton....still I wonder if you couldn't shrink it a bit?
