Saturday Sky

This has been a weird weather day.  One minute it’s beautiful and then it’s pouring rain.  Now it’s windy beyond belief.  Whew, what a weird day.  This is when it was beautiful out.

This week I was having a chat about my water tower.  This is such a common site around here and most communities have more than one.  I think I’m going to remember to pop my camera in my bag and hopefully in a few weeks we will see some additions to my tower.

When we were househunting in the San Francisco Bay area, an aunt wanted us to move near her in the Santa Cruz mountains. All the newer houses had their own miniature water towers, and when we asked, she said that’s so you could battle your own fires if the firetrucks couldn’t make it through the switchbacks and narrow roads.

Uh, can you say, no THANK you! Given all the fires this past week, we’re really really glad we didn’t buy out there.
