More Argyle
So these are by far the most intensive socks I’ve ever knit.
At least they are fitting well and so far no complaints.
A Woolen Room of Her Own
Some months ago DH started talking to me about turning one of the spare bedrooms into my wool room. Somewhere I can set up my wheels and contain the ever growing wool collection. With yarn, I can normally take it or leave it (unless it’s a really good deal), but the scent of raw wool, [...]
Saturday Sky
This has been a weird weather day. One minute it’s beautiful and then it’s pouring rain. Now it’s windy beyond belief. Whew, what a weird day. This is when it was beautiful out.
This week I was having a chat about my water tower. This is such a common site around here and most communities have [...]

Argyle’s Continue
First off, with summer here it’s time for a bloggy re-do. I have changed up the theme, so you may need to clear out your cache if you’re not seeing the changes. I really don’t have any programming skills at all, but I’m always amazed at how many awesome free blog designs there are for [...]
Saturday Sky
Well, it started off shaky, but turned out beautiful today.
Even Miss Sophie enjoyed some summer heat, but is so sensible to stay in the shade.
Summer Solstice Sale
So today was the best day for The Fold’s annual Summer Solstice Sale. I took the day off and went with a couple of friends for a stash enhancement exercise. All the soft goods were 30% off, except for the STR. I had to have one skein of that anyway, because it was in a [...]
