All it needs is a little embroidery and it’s done. The color didn’t come out really true, so after I put some embroidery on it, I’ll get another photo in some better light. It’s Blue Blood Red from Lamb’s Pride. A simple cushy hat – enough to keep my ears and head nice and toasty.
Since the holiday crush is upon us, I’ve resorted to buying a bit of yarn for gift making. I need to get out some mittens, but this hat is all mine. I realized – hey I need a hat. This is a quick knit – one skein wonder – knit in the round.
You can’t beat that pattern for an instant gratification knit. I saw one of mine from last year out in the wild today on the head of Crystal’s daughter Hannah.
It is very cute. I love to do hats as small projects.
