Low-Key

So we are having a low-key Sunday/Easter. I’ve been working on my projects and I just finished another book. If you haven’t read Heart-Shaped Box – put it on your list. If you like this genre and really just a good ghost story this one’s for you. It’s totally different from what I’ve been listening too, which has also been fantastic and highly recommended. -

Finally, a fabulous book – Three Cups of Tea – I’ve been telling everyone I know about, which I swear started off a little slow but then totally folded me in and wouldn’t let go to the end. -

While listening to the end of Heart-Shaped Box, I finished my Monkey Socks, tomorrow they will make the blog. Today it’s been about spinning. I’ve decided to get in gear and continue with Monsieur Purl’s sweater – two bobbins worth today – not too bad. I had another bobbin spun, but instead of plying I just did another bobbin. I was in a rhythm and didn’t want to stop.

  • The handspinning looks fabulous. Spin until you need the bobbins. Great job!

That is so funny that you have just finished 3 Cups of Tea. It was one of a few that I picked it up the other week at the bookstore. I started reading it Thursday night and can’t put it down. I have already figured out which of my friend’s I will be passing it on to next.

  • I’ll keep an eye out for Heart Shaped Box. I loved, loved, loved My Sister’s Keeper, and I just finished her latest book “19 minutes”, which was good, too.
