Is it 100% cotton or a mix? If you look back a couple of posts on my blog, you will find a picture of blue/green/turquoise socks. They're out of a cotton/wool mix. What I did is a very simple stitch pattern: rows 1-3 knit, row 4 k1, p1 all the way around. That's all there is to it. Even with selfstriping yarn it looks great!!! Cheers Eva Hello,

I'm finding myself highly unmotivated to knit those straight ribbing socks I started on the way home from CO. I do have quite a lot of birthday crafting to get done.
